{Grain Free} Apple-Cinnamon Granola: Sometimes it’s nice to take a break from grains. Not entirely of course. Kids need grains. Adults need grains. There’s a time and a place for everything. But is it me or does it seem like every breakfast food is packed with grains….usually refined ones. Cereal, pancakes, waffles, toast, granola, oatmeal, and the list goes on and on. I love all of these breakfast items and give them to the girls often, but every now and then you just need a break. That’s why I make batches of grain-free granola. We top our morning yogurt with it and it just packs a really great protein punch. Which (in my humble opinion) is one of the most important nutrients we all need to start the day.
This grain-free granola is sweet without being sugary, pairs the classic combo of cinnamon + apples, is nutty, crunchy, delicious, and so easy to make. I hope you’ll give it a try and met me know what you think. Enjoy!
